Bell's Palsy

Bells palsy is a condition that causes temporary weakness or paralysis of muscles of face.it can occur when the nerve that controls your facial muscles becomes inflammed, swollen or compressed. The condition causes one side of face to droop or become stiff.You may have difficulty smiling or closing your eye on affected side.In most cases bells palsy is temporary and symptoms go away after few weeks. The symptoms can develop 1 to 2 weeks after cold, ear or eye infection.

Symptoms:

In most cases bells palsy symptoms improve without treatment. However it takes time for muscles in your face to regain normal strength.Physical therapy exercises to stimulate your facial muscles can help along with facial massage and medications.
